Oh, Cups
This piece speaks on overconsumption in the age of social media marketing. The original concept was inspired by a classmate's piece about overconsumption of renewable water bottles. Exploring that idea led to my concept considering how many things we buy that are marketed as "renewable" or necessity, but end up collecting dust on a never-ending shelf.
My process involved many iterations of the concept including color studies and layout thumbnails, which led to the final piece.
